RPGFeed intended to be a daily feed of TTRPG related blogs, videos, etc., slanted toward indie titles rather than the biggest names and content creators in the space.
I built it because I got bored of scrolling Hacker News in the mornings, and wanted the same thing but for TTRPG stuff.
Here are some key principles it adheres to:
- Calm - RPGFeed only updates once per day, pulling in new posts, videos, etc., from the feeds it checks. Re-checking it for new things is not needed. If you check it in the morning, you've probably seen everything new that will be there for the day.
- Curated - Feeds are hand-picked. Not every submitted feed gets added. If you notice content you think doesn't belong, let me know at admin@rpgfeed.com
- Comment weighted - Posts are ordered by date, then by comment count. That means each day's batch of posts has a chance to "rise to the top" if people engage in conversation about it. I felt like this is the right way to do it - you upvote with a comment, not with an anonymous button click.
- Focused on small - I want RPGFeed to help surface creators, content, and games that don't already have massive million-dollar kickstarters and hundreds of thousands of subscribers. They've got their audience. RPGFeed should help those that don't. That being said, larger creators that help surface lesser-known, indie projects may be included.

Discussion Rules
RPGFeed allows comments & discussion on entries. We want thoughtful discourse, and the following guidelines are to serve that goal.
- Be kind.
- Assume good faith.
- Converse curiously.
- Don't take swipes at other commenters.
- Comments should be thoughtful and substantive.
- If you disagree with someone, respond to their argument, not the person. E.g. "I disagree that {X} RPG is the best. There are three others that I think handle {RULE} better:" instead of "You're a dumb head idiot that game sux. Here's my fave:"
- Thoughtful criticism is welcome. Contrarianism is not.
- RPGFeed is for human discussion. AI generated content is not welcome.
- Don't post shallow dismissals, especially of something other humans worked hard on, even if it's not your favorite. A good critical comment should teach us something.
- No throwaway accounts. Accountability is part of how we keep the discussion worth engaging with.
